- Steve Collar joins SWISSto12’s Board of Directors as Chairman

Renens, March 5th, 2025 // SWISSto12, one of the industry’s fastest-growing satellite companies and a leader in RF communications solutions, today announced that former SES and O3b Networks CEO, Steve Collar, is joining the Board of Directors of SWISSto12 and will serve as Chairman.
Steve brings more than 30 years of satellite industry experience including 5 years at the helm of SES, one the of world’s largest satellite businesses and more than 6 years leading O3b Networks from initiative funding through scale up, constellation launch and commercial success as the fastest-growing operator in the industry.
Roland Loos, Chairman since 2016 and industry veteran, continues as a member of the Board and will hand over the Chairman position to Steve Collar.
SWISSto12 is expanding the horizons of satellite communications and powering the next-generation of satellite systems, establishing market leadership in secure sovereign space systems and regional solutions based on its revolutionary HummingSat design, re-defining small and agile geostationary satellites to enable operators and nations to use smaller assets to better address secure sovereign connectivity requirements, affordably replace ageing assets, service regional markets and support a variety of emerging payloads.
SWISSto12 has developed patented 3D printing technology to disrupt the design and manufacturing of RF antennas, developed satellite users terminals including active electronically steered antennas deployed on hundreds of airborne, maritime and ground platforms and deployed thousands of products operating in space from LEO and GEO.
