We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team and support the growth of the company.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Manage AP and AR subledgers, provisions and transitory accounts.
- Establish financial statements on a monthly basis according to the Swiss code of obligations.
- Liaise supplier orders and their reconciliation with invoices.
- Revise yearly liquidity plan forecasts on a monthly basis.
- Participate in Internal Control System set ups to ensure they are in line with accounting and audit standards.
- Implement budget and forecast cycles into our ERP.
- Adapt general ledger and analytic dimensions for management view.
- Bring continuous improvements to our accounting processes and booking automatization (AP, AR).
- Champion and share best practices.
- Manage external enquiries and tax declarations (VAT, corporate income tax).
- Occasionally, you will be asked to participate in overall tasks and services inherent to a dynamic fast-growing company.
Required experience and competencies:
- Ideally 10 years’ experience in a similar type of role.
- Strong knowledge with Microsoft Business Central and the Microsoft suite.
- Knowledge with financial consolidation at group level.
- Rigorous, autonomous, and proactive working style with excellent working organisation and ethics.
- Solution orientated mind-set.
- Excellent communication skills and ease at working across different cultures and different levels of an organization.
- Degree in Accounting & Finance (federal certificate of specialist in finance & accounting).
- Languages: excellent French and English.

This position This position is to be based in our Lausanne, Switzerland office and will require working with the colleagues in our different locations.
