Horn Antennas

SWISSto12 offer a large range of additive manufactured horn antenna components. These products benefit from a monolithic manufacturing approach, thus reducing assemblies, weight and improving performance. In the case of horn antenna arrays, products can often be manufactured into one single part thus removing any performance degradation due to sub-component assembly. SWISSto12 has experience with the most various horn antenna designs including smooth, corrugated, choked, Spline, diagonal, cylindrical or elliptical horns.

Airborne Ku & Ka Band Antenna Array

SWISSto12 offers Ku and Ka bands low profile antenna array to serve satellite connectivity on the move applications. The product is designed for airborne, maritime and ground use and intended for installation on a customer’s mechanically pointed satellite user terminal. The results of 2 years of intense development taking advantage of SWISSto12’s disruptive 3D printing technology, this dual band antenna is over 5 times lighter than competing products, thus offering unprecedented system level weight saving opportunities. In addition, its outstanding RF performance increases achievable data bandwidth for low profile mobile user terminals.

Slotted waveguide antenna arrays

Low footprint slotted waveguides antennas can be manufactured in a trice. Massive reduction of assemblies allows for new designs and optimised performance levels. SWISSto12’s slotted waveguide antennas are used for remote sensing and communication applications.

Thermostable Invar Filters

SWISSto12 has developed the unique capability of 3D printing filter products out of Invar material. This manufacturing is combined with surface treatment and surface plating of highly conductive metals to achieve state of the art Radio Frequency performance and stability of wide temperature ranges. This latter property is of utmost importance for narrowband filtering applications in harsh environments such as space.
