Dr. Emile de Rijk

CEO and board member

Emile is a passionate physicist and entrepreneur in the field of Additive Manufacturing and Radio Frequency applications. He co-founded SWISSto12 and serves as its CEO. Emile contributed to the technological inventions behind the company’s products and has helped the company in its growth from an early stage startup to a successfully growing business with international clients and partners.

Emile obtained a PhD in Physics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), in Lausanne (Switzerland) after obtaining his MSc in Physics at the University of Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and his his BSc in Physics at EPFL.

Jean-Marie Jacquet


Jean-Marie joined SWISSto12 in 2017 as its COO with a focus on boosting the company’s operational and industrial production capacity. Jean-Marie has a background in R&D, production and site management. His experience comes from the surface treatment industry applied to automobile and electronics applications. Prior to joining SWISSto12, Jean-Marie held different positions in site management and R&D for Oerlikon, Sulzer, Bekaert and Philips.

Jean-Marie holds an MSc in Materials Science from the Université Catholique de Louvain, in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.

Nadia Macor


Nadia joined SWISSto12 as the company was founded and served in a financial management role ever since. Nadia's expertise includes project management, financial management and accounting. Before joining SWISSto12, Nadia worked as financial manager of a major laboratory (150 co-workers) within the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), in Lausanne, (Switzerland) with responsibility for the full financial and operational management of large international research contracts such as EURATOM. Before joining EPFL, Nadia worked as Financial Assistant in various banks including UBS in Switzerland and in the United States as well as an accountant in industry.

Nadia obtained her Certificate in Project Management from the International Project Management Association in 2007 and her "All Round" Diploma of Banking Generalist from UBS and the Swiss Banking Association in 1998.


Roland Loos


Roland Loos started his career at the Swiss PTT satellite department as satellite project manager. In 2004 he was one of the 3 co-founders of NewSat Communications and was instrumental in the development of the company from a start-up to a well respected satellite communications provider to major oil and gas companies. From 2006 on, he created and ran whole owned subsidiaries of NewSat in most major oil-producing countries in Africa. In 2013 he lead the due diligence process and successful merger of NewSat with ITC global. He became the COO and president of the combined ITC structure and was responsible for the overall development and operations of ITC global's world-class network infrastructure. He also oversaw the company's Swiss based legal entity and travelled extensively to manage the international affiliates around the world. In 2015 he was part of the team that managed the very successful sale of ITC global to Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC).

Following this latest transaction, he has now left ITC global to develop new activities around the world and support young companies in their development.

Sabine Fleischmann

Board member

Sabine Fleischmann started her professional career in the information technology industry in 1990. Starting as a software developer she then worked for two of the largest software companies in diverse management roles, Oracle and Microsoft until 2006. Later she was the General Manager for Sun Microsystems in Austria and later Director of IBM Austria's Software Group. In 2009 Sabine Fleischmann developed an additional professional focus on international energy management by working for a startup developing business models for smart energy systems. In 2013 Mrs. Fleischmann joined Constantia Industries AG as an investment manager, where she is part of Constantia New Business, the industrial group's corporate venturing arm looking for interesting startups in technology related B2B segments. She holds an MBA degree from WU Executive Academy.
